Conference Objective:

Over the past four conferences, 2100 attendees from the US and abroad have participated in more than 200 conference sessions delivered by over 600 speakers. The Fifth National Conference will continue this broad-based appeal by engaging providers, communities, and policymakers to confront the challenges of addressing the health care needs of diverse populations. The objective of the Fifth National Conference is to identify and highlight leading work in the areas of health care quality, cultural competence and disparities reduction, and to provide a forum for cross-discipline discussion and exchange that promotes integration of these perspectives in health care practice and policy.

Target Audiences:

This meeting is designed for beginner and expert audiences concerned with culturally competent health care, including:

  • health care managers and staff, from community based clinics to managed care systems
  • health professionals in practice and education
  • consumers and representatives from diverse communities
  • individuals concerned with financing, quality improvement, policy, and research.

Exhibition times and location:

Over 500 professionals are expected to attend the conference, to be held at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel in Seattle, Washington. Exhibitors will have the unique opportunity to present their products and services to a diverse audience with considerable influence and market power.

The location of the Resource Center will be the North, West and South Ballrooms on the 3rd floor and will include invited poster presentations, exhibits, and networking tables.

Set Up:    Wednesday, October 18     1:30PM until 5:30PM
Open:  

Wednesday, October 18
Thursday, October 19

  6:00PM until 8:00PM
7:00AM until 6:00PM
Tear Down:   Thursday, October 19   6:00PM until 8:00PM

There will be an opening reception in the Resource Center on Wednesday, October 18, from 6:00-8:00PM.

Exhibit Fee Includes:

  • Exhibitors will receive an 8’ x 3’ table and two chairs. Tables will be skirted.
  • One conference registration fee, a value of up to $500. (A second staff member may attend the conference for a reduced registration fee of $150. Any additional staff members must pay regular registration fees.)
  • Conference binder, which will include mailing lists of participants and presenters.
  • Prominent recognition of your organization in the conference materials distributed to all conference participants.

Fees:

Please complete the exhibitor application and submit with your payment. The exhibitor fee without conference sponsorship is $1,250 for corporate exhibitors; $700 for non-profit or government exhibitors. Conference sponsors pay no additional fee to exhibit, but must fill out the exhibitor application. Logistics:

  • Exhibitors must complete commercial support disclosure form prior to the conference.
  • Power source (wall outlet of 15 amps) is available at an additional cost for each exhibit space.
  • Exhibit space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
