Over the past four conferences,
2100 attendees from the US and abroad have participated in more
than 200 conference sessions delivered by over 600 speakers. The
Fifth National Conference will continue this broad-based appeal
by engaging providers, communities, and policymakers to confront
the challenges of addressing the health care needs of diverse populations.
The objective of the Fifth National Conference is to identify and
highlight leading work in the areas of health care quality, cultural
competence and disparities reduction, and to provide a forum for
cross-discipline discussion and exchange that promotes integration
of these perspectives in health care practice and policy.

participation has established this meeting as the preeminent national
conference on quality health care for diverse populations, distinguished
by a number of elements:
